What is a walking tour?

A walking tour is a guided experience through streets, architecture, and hidden corners of the city. Led by a NYC-licensed guide, it offers historical context, cultural insight, and local perspective. Guests see major landmarks and discover details they might otherwise miss, leaving with a deeper connection to the city.

What routes do you offer?

We currently offer two guided tours:

  • Bloomingdale Neighborhood Tour – Explore the charm, history, and hidden gems of the Upper West Side’s Bloomingdale district.
  • Lower Manhattan Tour – Discover the birthplace of New York, from colonial streets to modern skyscrapers.

When are walking tours available?

Tours are offered by appointment only. Typical time slots are late afternoons, evenings, and select weekends or holidays. Once you book, we’ll work with you to confirm a time that fits your group.

Can I request a custom route?

Our current routes are fixed to ensure the highest quality experience, each carefully curated for storytelling, historical interest, and visual appeal. We plan to add additional routes over time and may offer more customized experiences in the future.

How long is each tour?

Each tour lasts approximately 2 hours and covers 1.5 to 2 miles at a comfortable pace with frequent stops.

What ages are the tours appropriate for?

Tours are designed for adult participants but can accommodate guests aged 12 and older when accompanied by an adult. Please keep in mind that each tour involves continuous walking and standing.

Do tours run rain or shine?

Yes — tours operate in most weather conditions. We recommend dressing appropriately for the season and wearing comfortable walking shoes.

In the event of extreme conditions such as thunderstorms, heavy snow, or extreme heat, the tour may be rescheduled or refunded. You will be notified as early as possible if a change is necessary.

Why does the image look slightly different in each size?

To ensure each print looks its best, subtle adjustments are made to composition and cropping based on the size. Instead of just scaling up each image is reframed for visual balance and clarity.
